Change your password in the Account Settings under My Account. Note: if your organization uses single-sign-on (LDAP/AD/SSO) for user authentication, your password cannot be reset here because we do not store your credentials within the application. Please contact your local administrator for assistance with resetting your password.


Select the Password tab in the Account Settings and enter the following information:


  • Old password – the current password used to log into eLabProtocols
  • New password – the new password that you want to use to login
  • Verify new password – retype the new password


Note that the chosen password must comprise at least 5 characters and that the most commonly-used passwords are not accepted. Click Change Password to complete the process. Your new password will be active beginning with your next login.



In addition to your password, you can further improve the security of your account by enabling 2-step verification.
